If you look closely, you'll see one common denominator. And that is, the stocks usually go up the very next day. I can't help you indraday b/c I have no Idea what kind of trader or investor you are.

I am still at the paper trading stage. I'm probably going to take the swing trading approach with the odd scalp thrown in when I can pay enough attention to the market during windows of opportunity during my day job.

What I am hoping to get from SF (im new here) is some strategies that will let me grow my trading capital at a little quicker pace. I am going to use the next few months to get my trading capital over the 25K mark so I am not subject to the limited trades that non pattern-day traders are.

I have been reading back through the archives and I am thoroughly impressed with the knowledge you and TRO amongst others have been kind enough to share. Hopefully one day I can pay you guys back with some valuable input of my own.

 Thanks again.

  RIGGS,

 Nice filter. Thanks!

Would you mind telling us your back test parameters? Did you use the defaults? Just curious.

Very simple. When your LIVE 15-min. chart reads like this....

 1. EMA(10)crosses EMA(20)
 2. Parabolic Sar crosses under price
 3. +DI is above -DI, & +DI is above 20
 4. Price is below MIDDLE band of Linear Regression Line(60)
 5. Price is above 200 MA

 Don't enter a stock if.....

 1. Close crossed above MIDDLE band of Linear Regression Line(60)

 OR

 2. +DI fell BELOW ADX(14)within the last five(5) sessions

If you do all this and nothing else, your entries will be right in line.

I am glad you have learned how to use the WARM filter and the 60 day slope of the close.

  Mr. Riggs......

 Thank You....

You found the bottoms I have been looking for..I use Bressert DSS and this is the only filter thanks to you that finds what I have been looking for quite a while....

 Kudos to U and thnx....

You also found a filter that finds the 50dma going up recently with the price above it...Nice very nice filter...

You the MAN on this one....

GL to U on your trades and U just saved me hours of contant manual work I have had to do for years...

and yes when U buy at the bottom with these TA's you will get around a 80% win rate. you just simplified my scans....

"As for 60-day "slope of close", that credit goes to "cegis." Not you pal. But nice try though. LOL...."

HolyGrail was the one that showed me rsi(2) and linear regression.

 I always give him credit.
