This is a timing buy for the S&P. The last time it gave a signal was on Dec. 1
Seems to work best if you wait until V or volume is over 2.

Thanks. VIX too high, time to buy. VIX too low, time to go. So goes the old rule of thumb.
Problem is when sF no longer gives us VIX, many good VIX filters also have less value.

Nice filter. When centering on the ETF SPY, and using this filter, if you add two extra lines to it, it would give you a higher % of more upward movement picks. Yes, you have more time in between picks but the one’s it picks are good bets to having good results. Try it out:
and slow stochastic(15,3) %K is below 50
and slow stochastic(15,3) %K is crossing above slow stochastic(15,3) %D
