Ya, I'm stuck in AMRS after the umteenth time it popped up on the filter. After looking into it no huge reason for drop, earnings not great but not bad, revenue up Y/Y some dilution happened with share offering... Anyway, I'm down around 20% now. I'm done trying to average down, for the love of god I hope it turns around soon.

That said I've been having some fun with QTM actually, it's good for a 4% gain every other day so with trading range.

strong survivorship bias with mostly all of Levamit's filters. Many drop OTCBB, which is why you don't see them on a backtest... just saying.

You want to expound on that?

It came from paper trading the original filter you got from Levamit. When you backtest it/when there were backtesting capabilities here at SF/it gives absurd % gains - from the equity summary - not ROI to the tune of thousands of % gains.

So I figured it was the holy grail and I paper traded it only to find two companies kick the bucket and get delisted. When I went back to see when they triggered they no longer showed up b/c they had been delisted to OTCBB(which is filtered out in the code) or to the grey sheets. I then confirmed this by running the backtest and viola these companies no longer showed up and trades went to other companies that "survived" and still trading - thus survivorship bias when you would have lost 100% on two companies.

in 2 months. that means that once a month there was at least a 100% loss when the stock get delisted - I'm not saying there isn't any upside to the filter, just want to make sure everyone is grounded knowing that these are extremely beaten down stocks - some for legit reasons and to be very cautious.

I didn't see where you said 2 months. I only had 1 go belly up on me but the 2 and 300% winners over the years offset that.
 Good research.

those 200 and 300% gainers are over a long period of time. What are your stops, as obviously you would need these for pennies due to their volatility. I don't think I would have the balls to hold a penny stock for a year - just me though
