TRO Thanks for all your ingenious filters. They have saved me countless hours of research and trial and error figuring. I have used many of your posted filters profitably. Like you have said,(which, I agree) just tweak your filters to suit your own trading style.

TRO,
Can you explain the value of "vdbl" in the latest version of the filter:
set{vck1, volume 1 day ago }
set{vck, volume / vck1 }
set{vdbl, days(vck < 2, 100)}
vck < 2 means the ratio is less than 2 . Don't you want vck equal or greater than 2 ?
I am missing somthing ?

VDBL is the number of consecutive days the volume has doubled.

Hi
I wonder if someone could help me program my Scott Trade Elite -Trade Idea Alert as follows.
Give an alert when MA crosses the MA5 line from above and the current volume exceeds the previous current volume by 3 timesor more a short time later.
If you take a look at NOEC on september 25 at about 10.18am and again at11.05amyou can see why I would want a heads up on the following volume spike.
Maybe I am asking for the combination to the Vault , but I thought it worth a shot.

Did you get any results?
My elite platform is not available as I'm on the road so I have not tried. Have not used the additional TI features from the upgrade yet, but anxious to get home and learn it.

No- Like I said I am at a loss to pick from the hundreds of choices available. Some are way to complicated for me.
So i am looking for some one with Trade Ideas programming experience to help me.
I know from what I read here that this is a piece of cake for some of these guys.
